Surgical Process
Surgical Neck Lift takes 2 to 4 hours, depending on the chosen technique. The surgeon makes incisions in inconspicuous areas (under the chin or behind the ears), then works with the platysma, removes excess skin or fatty tissue. After completing the surgery, cosmetic sutures are applied.
Recovery After Platysmaplasty
During the first week after surgery, the patient may experience mild discomfort, swelling, or bruising. Wearing a compression bandage for 10–14 days is recommended, avoiding physical exertion and following the doctor’s recommendations. The final result can be evaluated after 2–3 months.
